Inventors and innovation are the focus of Technip Energies Technology Day 2025

News

‘Inventors and Innovation’ were celebrated across Technip Energies at the company’s latest Technology Day, which was held over November 19 and 20.

The annual event saw thousands of employees participate in webinars, conferences, quizzes and other activities to discuss and learn about some of our Group’s latest technological developments.

Globally, Technip Energies holds 2,800 patents and 19 inventors were recognized in 2025.

Activities started on November 19 with a series of global webinars covering:

  • AI at Technip Energies, shaping tomorrow today
  • Unlock your career in Technology
  • Inventing the future: stories of creativity and resilience
  • Building a circular textile system: reinventing polyester with Reju.

The 2025 theme of ‘Inventors and Innovation’ was in line with the company’s strategy to grow its Technology and Products offerings, keep innovating to improve its technology portfolio, and protect and develop its intellectual property.

It also provided a perfect way to celebrate the company’s technology and technical expertise, as well as its ‘patented inventors’.

A key element of Technip Energies’ Technology Day is its local input. This year was no exception and there were activities on November 20 at a total of 27 locations from China to Colombia, France, India, Qatar, Spain, United Arab Emirates and the United States.

Wei Cai, Chief Technology Officer and a sponsor of the event, said: “Technology Day exemplifies Technip Energies’ commitment to innovation and sustainable solutions. It's an inspiring opportunity to showcase our technologies that are shaping the future of energy and to celebrate inventors and innovations with dedicated ceremonies.”
