Technip Energies India is enabling STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning for girls through Scholarship program

As part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, 100 female engineers from economically challenged backgrounds were recently given support to pursue further studies in STEM.

Each scholar received a grant which can be used for their academic purposes.

Davendra Kumar, SVP One T.EN Delivery and Managing Director India, said: “At Technip Energies, we strongly believe that women’s participation in STEM is crucial for innovation and progress. Through our scholarship program, we not only aim to support young women financially but also inspire them to go out and pursue leadership roles.”

This is the second year of the program and more than 3,000 young women from across India applied for the scholarship. As part of Technip Energies’ ESG commitment to ‘enable people to thrive,’ the India Scholarship Program has so far supported 250 aspiring female engineers.
