Technip Energies has helped stage the latest Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) Forum, which took place in Prague, Czech Republic from May 12 to 15.
The successful event attracted more than 180 delegates from 32 countries around the world, as well as the backing of 25 commercial sponsors.
FCC technology provides refiners with feedstock and product flexibility. Technip Energies is one of the world leaders in its application.
Operating under the theme ‘Time to Adapt the FCC: Sustainable, Reliable, Safe’, the Forum began with a welcome from Steve Moran, VP Sustainable Fuels Market at Technip Energies and Axens Vice President Deep Conversion & Upgrading Product Line, Delphine Le Bars.
Over the next 2.5 days there were 36 presentations by a wide range of experts, including keynote speaker Jean-Francois Sirinelli, Principal Research Analyst at S&P Global.
Besides the plenary sessions and technical streams, the Forum included an exhibition that allowed partners and suppliers to showcase their specialist products and technologies.
This year’s FCC Forum was the 15th of a continuing series.
Technip Energies organized the event with Axens, which is active in refining and other markets. Both companies are part of a long-standing FCC alliance that includes TotalEnergies and IFPEN, a research and training firm in the fields of energy, transport and the environment.
